The team did it!

In just over 21.5 hours and covering over 170 miles, the Ride4Life Team triumphantly rode into Leadenhall Market at 11.35am, last Friday.

We smashed our target!

So far we’ve raised £5,303.57 and still have further donations to collect which should see us reaching closer to £7k! Thank you for all of those who have supported us and if you have not yet donated and would like to, please visit

The challenge

It certainly wasn’t an easy challenge. From the outset, the team we’re faced with a 90 minute delay on the Eurostar, meaning that they had to pick up their pace to try and make up some of the time. And most importantly, to make sure that they didn’t miss the last ferry back to England that night! Having manoeuvred their way through the busy streets of Paris, the team enjoyed/endured the roads through the French countryside with stops in Marines, Gournay-en-Bray, Les Ventes, until they reached the fishing port of Dieppe, where they had 20 minutes to spare, until their Ferry departed at midnight!

greggs - LOW RESAfter a 4 hour ferry journey with little to no sleep, the team disembarked in Newhaven in the early hours of Friday 13th and set off on their way again, this time with only a little pit stop in Haywards Heath to pick up a few pink doughnuts from Greggs!

The final stretch of the challenge, saw the team navigating through London traffic and over London bridge to arrive in Leadenhall at 11.35am, in time for some much needed liquid refreshments!
